This year’s event featured over 6,000 participants from 86 companies, divided into five divisions based on company size. Lancer Worldwide proudly competed in Division 2, alongside some of San Antonio’s most recognized organizations.
What is the San Antonio Sports Corporate Cup?
The San Antonio Sports Corporate Cup is the city’s largest and most spirited corporate wellness event. Hosted at the University of the Incarnate Word’s Benson Stadium, bringing together companies from across the city for a full day of athletic competition, team bonding, and community impact.
The Corporate Cup also includes a Charity Challenge, supporting local nonprofits like the San Antonio Food Bank, Haven for Hope, and the Boys and Girls Club of San Antonio.

The Corporate Cup features a total of 14 different events that test athleticism, teamwork, and company spirit. These include traditional sports like basketball and dodgeball, as well as fun challenges like golf chipping, tug of war, and relay races. The variety ensures there’s something for everyone, whether you're a competitive athlete or just in it for the fun.

Lancer Worldwide’s Debut Performance
This year marked Lancer Worldwide’s first time participating in the Corporate Cup, and we made it count. Competing in Division 2, our team brought energy, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of camaraderie to every event.

We proudly competed alongside other reputable Division 2 companies such as Broadway Bank, Whataburger, and Gonzaba Medical Group.
Our team leaders led the charge, keeping the team motivated and focused throughout the day: Ryan Cortez, Melissa Rosas, Dimitri Augustus, Omar Villa, Francisco Medina, and Juan Maldonado.
Tailgating and Team Spirit
The tailgating scene was a highlight of the day. Company tents lined the field, many decorated with creative themes for the Tailgating Contest. Most teams were grilling burgers and BBQ, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere. It was a true celebration of teamwork and community.
